In the past, taking a cruise used to be only for rich people, and usually very old. In the last few years it has totally changed and more cruise companies are operating luxurious cruise ships in a very reasonable price. In most cruise ships there are entertainment programs for everyone, from babies to seniors. The ships have game rooms for kids and a rich entertainment program for them, almost all day, for no extra charge. Cruise is like a combination of a floating hotel that includes entertainment and pleasure: Swimming pools, Jacuzzis, water slide, ping pong tables, exercise rooms, night clubs, shows, casino, and restaurants, and almost everything included in the price. Usually there are additional payments like port taxes, tips and tours at the ports. The purpose of the cruise is not only getting to the ports, but also to enjoy your time on board as much as possible. The cruise ships are very big and stable.
The most popular ports are: The Bahamas, The Caribbean's, Mexico and Alaska.
